LAVERN G. SOPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP II

The Lavern G. Soper Memorial Scholarship will be given to a deserving student enrolled in the Mechanical Design Technology program.

- Applicant must have 12 or more CVTC credits completed
- Applicant must be enrolled in 12 or more CVTC credits in the current semester
- Applicant must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher at CVTC
- Applicant must be a resident within the CVTC district
- Applicant must currently be completing the first year of the program
- Applicant must be a continuing student at CVTC attending the summer session or fall semester
- Applicant must have CVTC club or community service – special consideration will be given to students demonstrating good citizenship/involvement in community activities, participation in extracurricular activities at CVTC, and leadership abilities
