LAVERN G. SOPER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Lavern G. Soper Memorial Scholarship was established by The Presto Foundation and is given in recognition of Mr. Soper’s 39 years of service with National Presto Industries, Inc. He began his career with the company in 1945, and was president from 1975 to 1983. Mr. Soper was responsible for significant innovations in manufacturing and engineering. This scholarship provides testimony to the importance of partnerships between education and industry.
