Developed by partnerships between CVTC Foundation, Inc., and local industry partners, the CVTC Promise Scholarship gives income-eligible recent high school graduates the ability to bridge their future success by attending college with less financial burden. Eligible, hardworking students have the ability to achieve their dream of completing a college degree through the CVTC Promise Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:
-Graduate with a high school diploma or HSED
-Reside in the Chippewa Valley Technical College 11-county district
-Receive a cumulative high school GPA of 2.0 or higher
-Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher while enrolled at CVTC
-Enroll in 12 or more credits as a full-time status CVTC student
-Enroll in a financial aid-eligible program
-Have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $3,000 or less as determined by information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
-Apply for admission to CVTC between May 1 of your junior year in high school and December 31 of your senior year in high school
-Submit a CVTC scholarship application each year
-Complete CVTC’s Financial Literacy program
-Participate in CVTC’s New Student Orientation program
-Complete the FAFSA application each year
-Meet high school attendance requirement of 90 percent for your senior year

  2. If awarded a Promise Scholarship, I agree to:
    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.
    • Enroll in 12 or more credits at CVTC each semester
    • Participate in New Student Orientation (Education Navigation)
    • Participate in the CVTC Financial Literacy Program
    • Submit the CVTC Scholarship Application (Apply for the Promise Scholarship) each year
