JONH PATZNER SCHOLARSHIP

The John Patzner Memorial Scholarship honors a man whose life reflected hard work, perseverance, and quiet strength. A proud 1962 Arcadia High School graduate, John was known for his determination on the football field and his unwavering commitment to giving his best in everything he did. His senior quote was ‘football isn’t the only place that needs a line’. While he once hoped to pursue further education, John chose to return to the family farm to work alongside his father and build a life rooted in dedication to his land, his family, and his community. Though school didn’t come easily, his grit, humility, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.  This scholarship supports a student who shares those same qualities and demonstrates determination, responsibility, and the drive to get the job done.
