ALLAN KOSIER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Allan Kosier’s HVACR career started while he was in the Navy as a boiler technician on the destroyer the U.S.S Edson. After his enlistment Allan’s HVACR path took him on several journeys from working for Montgomery Wards in Ohio where he serviced and installed HVAC units, to Colby, Wisconsin where he had his own business, Kosier Heating, to finally ending up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, working at Benedict Sales and Service as a refrigeration service technician. Allan enjoyed learning how to fix things and was dedicated to the HVACR industry. Sadly, Allan passed away from cancer in 2006. He is survived by his wife Carol, his daughter Stacey and his son Fred who carried on the HVACR tradition and after 20 years in the HVACR industry is now an HVACR instructor at CVTC. Allan was passionate about his field of work, and enjoyed his career. Fred and Stacey started this scholarship to help out future generations of HVACR workers. The person who receives this scholarship needs to be passionate about HVACR and dedicated to learning all they can and becoming successful in the industry.
