WILLARD E. PYNN ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Willard Pynn was a former CVTC (District One Technical Institute) business education supervisor. A native of Hartland, WI, he was a business education teacher for 13 years in Dodgeville, Wausau, and Eau Claire high schools, and assistant superintendent and business manager of the Eau Claire public schools. He joined the staff at CVTC in 1963, heading up the Business Education Department until his retirement in 1975. Willard was credited with many innovative and significant contributions to his curriculum area and to the entire school. He was responsible for establishing the OEA (Office Education Association) student chapter on campus.
The Willard Pynn Endowment Scholarship fund was established in 1984, with additional contributions added to it, including proceeds from CVTC Foundation-sponsored breakfasts that were held annually.
