STUART AND JUDY GEHLER ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Stuart and Judy Gehler are advocates of continuing education as both their careers benefitted from being non-traditional students. Stuart Gehler is a 1968 Aquinas High School graduate and 1970 graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical College Mechanical Design program. He was a Mechanical Design Instructor at CVTC for thirteen years. In 2000 Stuart received a Society of Manufacturing Engineers International Award of Merit for his contributions to the Indianhead SME Chapter 335. Stuart continued his education at UW-Stout graduating in 2001 with a BS in Career, Technical Education and Training. Stuart retired from the Navy in 1992 with two years active and 20 years Reserves as a Corpsman. Stuart graduated from CVTC’s Licensed Practical Nursing program in 2003 and retired from a career in healthcare.

Judy is a 1973 graduate of Augusta High School. In 1995 she received her Industrial Engineering degree from CVTC and in 1996 received a Supervisory Management degree from CVTC. Judy was a CVTC Alumni Board member, former Alumni Board President and the 2006 Distinguished Alumni Recipient. Judy continued her education at UW-Stout in 2000 with a BS in Career, Technical Education and Training and a MS in Training and Development in 2006. Judy retired from a career in Human Resources and Training.
