RUTH R. PETERSON MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established in memory of Ruth R. Peterson by her family. Mrs. Peterson was a widowed, single mother who supported herself and her son by teaching at CVTC for over 20 years; she retired in 1976. The annual scholarship honors her determination, resilience and commitment to education by supporting students who balance family responsibilities with their academic goals and who can demonstrate financial need and determination. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and instructional materials at CVTC.
