RUTH R. PETERSON MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established in memory of Ruth R. Peterson by her family. Mrs. Peterson was a widowed, single mother who supported herself and her son by teaching at CVTC for over 20 years; she retired in 1976. The annual scholarship is awarded to a single mother with custody of her minor children who can demonstrate financial need and determination. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and instructional materials at CVTC.
