ROBERT L. ZIMMERMANN MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

A charter member of the CVTC Foundation board of directors, Robert Zimmerman died at his home of a heart attack in 1977, two months after being elected secretary of the Foundation. His wife, Nadine, graduated with honors from the Stenography program at CVTC, a week before his death, in the same class as their daughter, Karen Lee, who completed the Clerk Typist Medical program. Mr. Zimmerman, 48, was executive vice president of Northwest Bank in Chippewa Falls, WI, where he worked for 30 years. He also served on the St. Joseph’s Hospital board of directors.

This scholarship is presented annually to a student in a business program. Contributions came from family, friends, CVTC Foundation, and the Northwest Bank of Chippewa Falls.
