ROBERT "ALLIGATOR BOBBY" FEDERICO MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Our beloved son Robert was interested in motorsports from a young age, along with his brother Matthew, they enjoyed riding snowmobiles, wave runners, and ATV’s. In grade school for show and tell, Robert demonstrated how to fix a flat tire on an ATV. That passion for motorsports grew, so after high school Robert enrolled in CVTC for small engine repair. After graduating he opened his own motorsports shop, Menomonie Motorsports in 2012. His knowledge, honesty, and personality grew his business so much that in 2019 he moved to bigger location down the street. Menomonie Motorsports came to be a second home, where any and everybody was welcome. More often than not, you could find someone chatting away with Robert as he worked. People respected his knowledge and honesty but came to love his personable nature. Even though he didn’t want to work on lawnmowers and yard equipment he never turned anybody away. He would fix a lawnmower or weed whip for an elderly person no charge and that person would bring a neighbor, friend or family member with a motorcycle, snowmobile, or ATV that needed work and in turn would earn another customer. Robert worked hard and played hard. In 2021 we lost our beloved son to a snowmobile accident. Our only comfort is knowing that we lost him doing something he truly loved. This scholarship will help allow for his love and passion for motorsports will continue infinitely through other people that enjoy motorsports like he did. Robert would love that we’re now helping other people accomplish their goals in the motorsports field.
