R.E. CARTER MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was established by Jim Carter, a past member of the CVTC Foundation Board of Directors, in honor of his father, Robert E. Carter. Robert was in the automobile business for almost 40 years as a salesman, car manager, general sales manager, and general manager. In 1959 he started Bob Carter Ford in South St. Paul and successfully operated that dealership until he sold it in 1987. The scholarship recipient must have a record of hard work, good attendance, a very positive attitude, and be pursuing a career in the automobile business.
