JIM AND NANCY BENSEN SCHOLARSHIP

To continue their legacy of commitment and contributions to education, the Jim and Nancy Bensen Scholarship will be awarded annually to a CVTC student enrolled in any degree-granting program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher with a preference to a Menomonie High School Graduate or Menomonie resident. Jim and Nancy devoted their careers to education. Jim worked as a Dean for UW Stout, then went on to become the President for both Dunwoody College of Technology and Bemidji State University. Nancy worked at CVTC and was instrumental in helping to establish the Adult Learning Center in Menomonie. Both Jim and Nancy have been active volunteers and philanthropists, and continue to serve on boards that better the communities and areas they care most about.
