JEROME HEDRINGTON MEMORIAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE SCHOLARSHIP

The Jerome Hedrington Memorial Criminal Justice Scholarship was established in December 2012 as a way to honor the life and career of Jerome (Jerry) Hedrington. Jerry passed away on November 24, 2012. At the time of his passing, he was the oldest retired Chippewa Falls police officer.

Jerry served in World War II, and later worked as a police officer in Chippewa Falls, first serving with his father, Captain John Herington. Jerry retired in 1979, with the last two years of his career as chief of police.

Jerry was married to Laures and is survived by their six children Michael, Robin, Patricia, Denise, Joel, and Brian.
