JEAN HUSBY MEMORIAL MARKETING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established by the CVTC Marketing Department in memory of Jean Husby. Jean was born in Superior, WI, on January 16, 1960. She graduated from Superior Senior High in 1978 and was a lifelong advocate of education. Jean earned an associate of applied science degree in marketing from Western Technical College in La Crosse, bachelor’s and master’s of science in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a master of education-professional development from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Jean worked at CVTC for 20 years as a full-time Marketing instructor and served as Wisconsin Marketing & Management Association student advisor. Her teaching philosophy was: “Tell me, I forgot. Show me, I remember. Involve me, I understand.” (Chinese Proverb)
