FRANCIS SORRENTINO MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Francis C. Sorrentino Memorial Scholarship was established by the Presto Foundation and is given in recognition of Mr. Sorrentino’s 39 years of service to National Presto Industries, Inc., and memorializes a man whose professional life was spent advancing technology. Mr. Sorrentino held degrees in engineering and meteorology. His career with the company culminated in his election as executive vice president in 1982, a position he held until his death in 1990. This scholarship provides testimony to the importance of partnerships between education and industry.
