EDWARD H. JOHNSON MARKETING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

EDWARD H. JOHNSON MARKETING ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

Edward H. Johnson started at Eau Claire Vocational School as a teacher of insurance classes at the original vocational school building on First Avenue. When he retired in 1989, he was supervisor of the Marketing Department, which included the majors of Marketing, Fashion, Agri-Business, and Materials Management.

He created and operated the very successful all-school used book sale. Previously the students had to buy all of their books at the bookstore. Funds from this project are still generating interest to this day.

The students were always Mr. Johnson’s first priority. Instructors on his staff were encouraged to give their greatest efforts to prepare students for real-life success. He continued to work diligently throughout each summer to ensure students had their best schedules possible. This scholarship in Ed’s name is to honor his dedication to CVTC and his students.
