DELBERT L. UTPHALL AUTOMOTIVE ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP

The Delbert. L. Utphall Automotive Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Delbert L. Utphall – a devoted husband, father, teacher, and lifelong automotive enthusiast. A proud U.S. Army veteran and longtime Eau Claire resident, Delbert dedicated his career to the automotive industry, serving as a service manager for several area dealerships and later sharing his expertise as an instructor at Chippewa Valley Technical College. Known for his sharp diagnostic skills, love of teaching, and quick sense of humor, Delbert inspired countless students and colleagues during his decades of service.

This scholarship supports students pursuing careers in the automotive program who demonstrate the same curiosity, integrity, and dedication to craftsmanship that defined Delbert’s life. Through this award, his family hopes to continue his legacy of learning, mentorship, and passion for the automotive field.
