DAIRY STATE BANK ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Dairy State Bank was founded in 1952 when a group of local businessmen thought it was time to have a second bank in the City of Rice Lake. The bank began with the support of many local residents purchasing one or two shares of stock to provide the initial capital investment. A number of those original investors are still owners of the bank. There are currently ten banking locations following the merger with First Bank & Trust of Menomonie that took place in March of 2008. The home office is located in Rice Lake, with full-service branches in Birchwood, Haugen, and Prairie Farm. Menomonie has three offices, along with branches in Colfax, Downsville, and Wheeler. Through the efforts of many people and the support of many loyal customers, Dairy State Bank has become one of the largest unit banks in northwestern Wisconsin.
Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Barron, Dunn, or Washburn County.
