THE JIM & JENNIFER ROONEY FAMILY FOUNDATION PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP

Jim Rooney is the CEO/President of EnRec Solutions and Rooney Properties in Chippewa Falls. Jennifer Rooney is the CEO of The Classic at Hillcrest Greens in Altoona. Together they established the Jim and Jennifer Rooney Family Foundation, Inc., in 2018 to ensure the continuation of their philanthropic support of the local community into the future. One of the foundation priorities is providing scholarships to CVTC students with unmet financial need who are pursuing careers in the trades and technical industries. The Jim & Jennifer Rooney Family Foundation Program Scholarships will be given to currently enrolled CVTC students or high school seniors who will be enrolled in the fall in any of the following CVTC programs: Accounting, Agronomy Management, Diesel Truck Technician, Entrepreneurship, Executive Assistant, Gas Utility Construction & Service, or Truck Driving.
If currently enrolled:
- Applicant must be enrolled in 9 or more CVTC credits in the current semester
- Applicant must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher at CVTC
- Applicant must be attending the summer session or fall semester
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need
